Bot Guide & Command Reference
A Warm Welcome to Companions
On TaiPow: Age of Discovery, you have the ability to recruit advanced AI companions known as Bots. These companions are designed to fill specific roles in your adventure, acting as stalwart defenders, powerful healers, or deadly damage dealers.

Getting Started Cheat Sheet
Initial Creation: Use ^create help to see all options. Example: ^create Xackery 2 6 1 creates a female Dark Elf Cleric.
Spawning & Grouping: Use ^spawn [Name] to summon your bot. You can also use ^botlist to see all bots you own and, if using the recommended ROF2 client, simply click a name to spawn them instantly. To dismiss, use ^camp on a target or ^camp [Name]. Invite via /inv [Name].
Control: Use ^botstopmeleelevel 0 to stop casters from meleeing. Hotkey ^summon all to fix stuck bots and ^attack to engage. Use ^invgive with an item on your cursor for fast gearing.
Spell Logic: By default, bots use every spell in ^spells. To granularly control them, type ^enforcespellsettings and manage them via ^spellsettings.
Grouping & Gearing
How to Group with Bots:
To add a spawned bot to your party, simply target them and invite them to your group exactly like you would a player character. They will automatically accept your invitation.
^follow
Orders bots to follow a designated target (option 'chain' auto-links eligible spawned bots)
^guard
Orders bots to guard their current positions
^botsummon
Summons spawned bot(s) to your location
How to Gear Your Bots:
Bots act like players when it comes to equipment. To gear one, target them and trade the item directly to them just like you would a player. If their class and race can wear it, they will equip it instantly.
To retrieve an item from a bot, use the ^invlist command. This will generate a list of their equipment in your chat window; each item in that list has a clickable [Remove] link that places the item directly onto your cursor.

Lists all gear the targeted bot is currently wearing (includes remove links)

Displays bot equipment in a standard pop-up window

Appearance & Customization
^face / ^haircolor
Customizes the face and hair color of the targeted bot.

Adjusts the hair and beard style of the targeted bot.

Changes the gender of the bot (0 for Male, 1 for Female).
^dye
Dyes armor pieces (e.g. ^dye chest 255 0 0 for red).
^size
Sets the character model size for the bot.
Heal Rotations
Heal rotations allow multiple cleric or druid bots to coordinate their heals on a specific target at intervals.
^hr create
Creates a new heal rotation group.
^hr add
Adds a targeted bot to the rotation.
^hr list
Lists all bots currently in the heal rotation.
^hr set
Configures the rotation (interval, target name).
^hr start / stop
Begins or ends the heal rotation sequence.
Misc Utility
^picklock
Orders a Rogue bot to attempt picking the targeted lock.
^track
Opens the tracking window for Ranger or Druid bots.
^lull / ^mesmerize
Directs bots to use crowd control on your target.
^waterbreathing
Casts water breathing on the group.
^movementspeed
Forces bots to cast their best speed buff.
